New Referrals - We are happy to see you!
We are currently accepting new patients. Please start with an appointment with your General Practitioner to request a referral to our clinic.
A referral is required to see a physician in our clinic. All referrals received are reviewed and triaged by a Gynecologist/Obstetrician here. Based on the medical information we receive, the referral will then be placed on our Priority OR Elective Waitlists.
Gynecology Referrals:
Wait Time for Elective Gynecology referrals is approximately 14 months or more. The specialists here triage referrals based on the types of referrals that we see. Unfortunately, we see patients with high risk situations and those cases would have to be seen prior to any referrals triaged as Elective. Priority referrals will be seen in a shorter time frame. If we've received your referral and something has changed in your condition - please have your doctor send updated information/test results.
If you feel you are unable to wait, some small procedures (IUD removal/insertions/PAPs etc.) can be done by family doctors, nurse practitioners, or at clinics such as Planned Parenthood or the YQR Women's Health Clinic on Badham Blvd). Please contact them directly to find out wait times or to book an appointment.
Prenatal Referrals:
Prenatal referrals are seen based on medical information received as well as due dates. We do not book patients at a specific gestation. Please continue to follow up with a physician until you receive your appointment with us.
Frequently Asked Referral Questions:
Am I on your waitlist?
Feel free to contact us to ensure that we have received your referral. We do not want you waiting for an appointment call without ensuring you are on our list.
I'm on your waitlist - now what?
You will not receive a call until we are ready to schedule an appointment. We do not have our schedule open far in advance (no more than 6 weeks at a time). We will continue booking down the waitlist in the order that the referral has been received. Unfortunately, we will not have an exact time frame of when we could call you to schedule. If something has changed in your condition please have your doctor send updated information/test results.
Who can send a referral to our clinic?
We can accept a referral from any general practitioner - family physician, walk in doctor, nurse practitioner or a midwife. They send it through to Pooled Referrals.
